Frequently asked questions

Do I need an account?

No. SpotRep works anonymously out of the box. Signing in with Apple is optional and only used to back up and sync your data across devices.

How do I log a workout?

Type it, dictate it ("bench 3×10 at 135"), or import a spreadsheet or a photo of an old log. You can also log runs and other cardio.

What does the muscle map show?

Tap a muscle group to see what you've trained recently and what to prioritise next.

What is a "spotter"?

Someone you invite to view — or, if you allow it, log on your behalf. You can see who has access and revoke it anytime in Settings ▸ Spotters.

Does it use Apple Health?

Only with your permission, and only to read your workout history so your consistency stays accurate. SpotRep never writes to Apple Health.

How do I export my data?

Settings ▸ Export sends all your workouts to CSV/Excel.

How do I delete my data?

Email us at the address above and we'll remove your data from our servers.
