SpotRep — Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 16, 2026

SpotRep ("the app", "we", "us") is a workout logging app. This policy explains what data the app handles, why, and the choices you have. We keep it simple: we collect only what's needed to log and show your training, we don't sell your data, and we don't use third‑party advertising or tracking.

Information we handle

How we use AI to read your entries

To turn what you type, dictate, or import into structured workout entries, the relevant text and any spreadsheet/photo you choose to import are sent to Google's Gemini API for parsing. We send only the content needed to extract your workout; results are returned to the app and saved to your account. Please avoid including sensitive personal information in free‑text notes.

Sharing with spotters

If you invite someone to be your "spotter", they can view (and, if you grant it, log) your training. You can see who has access and revoke it at any time in Settings ▸ Spotters. Revoking removes their access in the app.

Where your data is stored

Your data is stored on our backend hosted with Amazon Web Services in the United States. We do not sell your data and we do not use third‑party advertising or analytics SDKs.

Your choices and rights

Children

SpotRep is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
